This thing is awesome. 11/10 would buy again.
While it is a beautiful machine that I wanted to love, the use of an 8-way joystick in a small form factor renders the game frustratingly unplayable (the issue being that if you don't move the joystick perfectly horizontally or vertically on the zoo levels, your character will freeze (and, likely, die)).
This 1/4 cabinet is probably one of their best looking/unique control scheme cabinets yet. The analog thruster gives the feel that you are actually controlling the space capsule. I have not played an original Lunar Lander out in the wild but have played it on Mame and the Atari 50th collection and this blows those out of the water with having the correct controls.
If you’re on the fence and have a little extra disposable income, buy this and you’ll definitely enjoy it. Also the mini poster and light look phenomenal.
This 1/4 scale cabinet is absolutely stunning in appearance. From the curved marquee to the grey coloured build, it just takes you back to a time when these games were new and in the arcades. I was never a massive Bad Dudes fan back in the day but I am super happy to have this one in my collection and the controls work perfectly, complimenting the original game ROM. Overall it's a great looking cabinet with a decent game and fun gameplay, well worth the price to add to your 'arcade' as well.
I am quite pleased with the appearance, size and authentic game play offered here for a fraction of the cost of an original Lunar Lander arcade board-set and cabinet. Not to mention it takes up a a lot less space than a full-sized machine! While not something I would be holding weekend tournaments on, it will definitely look great on the shelf, and even better when running in attract mode between occasional game sessions. The controls have an excellent feel to them and are very responsive during gameplay. I found charging the internal battery to be quite a lengthy process (~ 5hrs) but with a reasonable amount of game/attract mode run time (~ 4 hrs) in return. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase and will be collecting additional Quarter Arcade machines from Numskull. Also since this is the Collector's Edition, the added poster and lamp (both 1/4 scale) were a really nice touch!

It’s awesome, I love the Lunar Lander Arcade Cabinet, it’s more interesting to use than the others to be honest as I have had a habit of landing LEMs on the moon when I used to visit NASA in Florida.
The attention to detail on this cabinet is awesome! It’s my favorite so far of the 8 1/4 scale arcades I own. The poster and light included with the pre order is just icing on the cake and look great in my game room. If you’re on the fence to purchase this and have the money, definitely pick up this beautiful 1/4 cabinet.
As a GenX kid, I spent many many summer hours playing in Aladdin's Castle. Bad Dudes often sat right next to Robocop and was one of the games I played most often. This faithful recreation is incredibly accurate. It's literally the 'Honey I Shrunk the Arcade' and the quality is top-tier. I have built the home arcade of my Silver Spoons dreams with these and continue to be a loyal supporter of Quarter Arcades.
I also pre-ordered this, which meant it included the wall art and wall light. I thought this would be a novelty, and it is, but it's also really pretty neat. I found myself wishing that I could buy more of the little lights for other areas around the arcade. It was really impressive to have as an add-on and I'm very happy with the quality of the shrunken print and the light. Thank you!!

I have never played an actual Atari Lunar Lander arcade cab, but I have a High Score Saves kit in my Atari Asteroids arcade cab that allows me to play it along with Asteroids Deluxe and regular Asteroids. So I have played Lunar Lander on that. That said I knew just that the single thrust button which was simply on and off on an Asteroids control panel and not the analog thruster would make a difference and now I can tell you for a fact that it makes the game absolutely superb to have a working analog thruster as it was meant to be. . And yours on this game appears to work flawlessly as I’m sure the original did.. Beyond the fact that you seem to have captured every single detail of the original right up to the light up panels of the different skill levels the analog thruster send it over the top for A+ great! My compliments to you and thank you for offering / building it. I am happy to own this. I would really like to buy the Battlezone complete with all the detachable front faces and step and if you make a Pong and a Red Baron too, I would be very happy to try to add those to my collection. I’m a major fan of Atari and while I own several of your other units, Space Invaders, Pac-Man, Dig Dug and Burger Time (the ladder two have yet to take out of the box and play) I was thrilled to see you come out with Atari Lunar Lander your first Atari title. Please keep up the work!

First ever quarter arcades product that I have gotten my hands on and I am blown away! Such attention to detail, from the marquee bracket screws to the pho hinge on the front control panel, quarter arcades attention to detail to far superior and worth the price. Made with quality and real wood, beautiful and vibrant screen, fully playable, with included USB hubs for optional controllers to play. Such a cool product… and now the collection begins!
This is my 2nd Numskull Quarter Arcades cabinet and this is absolutely incredible! Bad dudes from data east and been exactly recreated in the quarter scale perfectly, the rounded marquee is phenomenally recreated exactly how it is in the full size cabinet, the control deck is perfect with a rub resistant deck, the bezel matches the full size exactly, and the side art is perfect. Quarter Arcades are truly a phenomenal piece of arcade art. And yes they are perfectly playable.. INSANE!

Amazingly done cabinet! Looks beautiful and plays great. Also there is less washout with the screen when compared to older models like Galaxian. Very pleased with purchase and shipping is faster now that Quarter Arcades is in the US. 👍👍
